Basically, a Darkness Game is a normal duel, except there are bigger losses than just losing a duel. Stakes are usually made, very high, personal stakes, and carried out. For the most part of what I know, the winner will inflict a 'Penalty Game', on the loser, which generally effects the mind and/or body in some way, shape or form, depending on the Penalty Game, can be reversed in another Darkness Game by someone or wear off naturally.
