It's so pleasent to be talking to other royals now. This King Van der Aart fellow really makes my blood burn. I mean, I've never enjoyed things like this before. They always seem so... flippant to me before. But I feel so much more of adult now that I talk to him.

Pity he's so hung up on that Kirihana peasent. I mean, he's trying to breed outside of proper blood. How sad. Why would he stoop so low.

And Ami, please clean up that mess, dahling.

So... how are the rest of you?

However, by all sense, he's still technically not of a "royal". Respected, sure, but only in dueling ability.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Titles are everything. He's still royal.

And respected in intelligence.

[identity profile] observershikou.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
So basically, by your sense, if someone were to be named a "King" or "Queen", even for dueling, you'll think of them as a royal? ...What about when they lose their title, as well?

I don't know him well enough to gauge intelligence, however, he is quite wonderful to speak to.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Abdication doesn't mean they're not royal.

He's very smart. She's an idiot for not sticking with him.

[identity profile] observershikou.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
So generally, if someone "common" were to be named a "king", they'd instantly gain your respect, then?

...She? What "she" are we speaking about?

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
More or less. They get the title for a reason.

Kirihana Kanna.

[identity profile] observershikou.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Mn, fine.

...She's not an idiot. As well, she does have someone she already cares for. I'm very well aware of this, and I don't think of her as "idiotic" for actually being, and staying with someone.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
The rules of royalty don't have to make sense to those lacking privlige.

Oh, I know. I mean about her other decisions. Bit jumping the gun.

[identity profile] observershikou.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Actually, they do make sense. I'm just wondering what kind of logic she works upon.

People can make the decisions they wish to. Like for instance: I'm making the decision to take much of what you say for granted. I made this decision through our conversation with each other, and I have to say, it sounds like a probable conclusion, to me.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
"She?"

It still doesn't mean she's not an idiot. ;)

And that's a good thing. I make sense.

[identity profile] observershikou.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
I actually meant you, but.... I guess I could refer to you, as though you're not here.

Technically, that all depends on what you mean by "idiot". If you mean in academic standards, given her score on that test Mr. Chronos gave... I'll assure you, she's not an idiot. Other than that, she's just as intelligent as everyone else, including yourself, most likely, Miss Noriko.

Actually, you don't. That's why I'm taking your words for granted, because of the fact that no matter what I say, it'll just devolve into an argument in which we'll both be irritated, instead of just myself.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, we are here, dear. We know what we think.

Oh, we have no disregard to her academic standards. We mean on personal choices. ;)

Then you need to think like me to get it, I suppose.

[identity profile] observershikou.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Nice to see you at least have a slight sense of humor, by speaking in third person.

At which, she's as intelligent as everyone else, including yourself, most likely. Her personal choices are her personal choices, just as anyone else's is. Everyone has them, and it no one else's place to state whether they're idiots, because of them.

I guess so. I think I'll be avoiding that, though.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2007-11-15 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
Don't we not? Seriously, I'm not all fluff, dear.

And some personal choices can be attributed to being of poor taste by an outside third party, can they not? We do it all the time with politics.

There's always the witch...

[identity profile] observershikou.livejournal.com 2007-11-15 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
I never stated that. I just stated that you had a slight sense of humor.

Some. But once more: No one else has the ability to state that others are idiots, for making certain personal choices. You have your opinion; it's not like you should try to push it.

...Hahah. Amusing. You want to go to Miss Yuuko, to make it so I can think like you?

I think not. I like the way I think, and I wouldn't trade it for anything, even if another person wished it away.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2007-11-15 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
Just noting I'm not completely a Cloud Cuckoolander.

Yes we do. People in America do it all the time to their president.

Nah. Just noting there's the option for you if you want to think like me.

Understandable, dahling.

[identity profile] observershikou.livejournal.com 2007-11-15 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
Alright.

And I wouldn't agree with their methods and actions, were I even the least bit interested in America. But of course, that might also be of personal choice to force it.

If I wanted to think like you, I'd go through my own efforts to do so, and no have someone mess with how I think, especially when it might be potentially permanent. However, I stated already that I would be avoiding doing that.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2007-11-15 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Alright.

Their president. Is pretty stupid.

There's always hypnosis.

[identity profile] observershikou.livejournal.com 2007-11-15 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
Mn.

No. Like I said, I like the way I think. You can stop trying to give suggestions, in which I'd think the way you do, Miss Noriko. I have no interest at all.
