While those tentacled reptiles do make for... 'interesting' mental images considering the kidnapped, I don't really think they have the capacity for stealth. I might even say they're the anti-stealth.

Though that does bring up an interesting idea, is the concept of a 'ninja' fairly universal? Guerrilla warfare members who become myth to the point they're either unstoppable warriors or complete wastes of time? Depending on whether there's one, or a bunch, of course.

Considering the main demographic that likes Ninjas, if Zombies were universal as well, I'd have to say that sentience comes with a certain amount of nerdity.

How do you even GET zombie ninjas, honestly? They're just zombies who used to be ninjas. Zombies move slow and awkwardly, Ninjas are agile and move quickly.

They're agile quick awkward slow moving Zombies. With l33t stabbing skills, going YARR, and they know how to sing drinking songs.
