Private to Samasu Shikou

... I believe... you wanted to learn how to...

Erm... play. Polo?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-01-06 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmm... well, to an extent you just have to realize that things take time. I, myself, have had a number of minor crisises with those close to me... one in particular... so I haven't had much time to talk to other people.

Hmm... I see. I've actually met several other people like that. Part of belonging can just be finding interests you share with others, and becoming more active. So long as you aren't trying anything negative against my 'family' and friends, and don't act too proud around me and my family... there's not much I could have against you. Can't say much for other people, though.

*shrugs* Makes no sense to me. I put a couple billion yen in the bank when I first got here so I could be comfortable... but besides being comfortable, what good is money?

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-06 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess I've never learned to be patient.

I guess we won't be friends after March, then. A pity. As... I'm a very proud girl. I take pride in who I am and that I was born the way I was... until recently.

... Wha wha wha what?!

Money tends to mean authority which means power which means you need to be respected or someone loses their head.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-01-06 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
It really does wonders. I suggest taking a class in it, if there is one.

Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps the other you just needs to be slapped upside the head a couple times. I've managed to get a stoic, serious girl to relax more, and a girl who was literally programmed to be disgusted with the idea of intimacy to stay with me... and still does so. Sometimes... you just need help to change is all.

...what what?

I guess I just find a good old fashioned smiting to do the job so much better. *shrugs*

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-06 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmm. Not sure if there is.

15 years I'm been like this. I'm not even sure if I turned back, I'd be willing to talk to you, Mr. Eusebius.

You have that much?!

Fear and respect is the norm for me.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
Probably not.

Now that, I can't help. But at that point, I'd call it, as some might put it, "'yer own damn fault".

School and housing is expensive. I planned to live at least 10 years off of it, plus just being comfortable. Seemed reasonable, given how inflation can be, and how miserable bank interest is.

I don't really see how money deserves respect. ;P

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry... I'm a very arrogant girl underneath. And... I don't want her to come back, in all honesty. But I'm not even real...

Hahaha. So true.

Because those with Money in the past were royal. Royalty by privlege, is to be respected, or you find yourself in Jail.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Oh? Because you're the result of a wish? But you have to remember... who made the wish?

Isn't it, though?

Still seems pointless to me. Even the French rose up when things got too much. Money can help, but once people have enough, there's not a lot you can do against swarm tactics.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, and I did... but... The real me will probably... think she was cheated.

Mhm.

... Mmm...

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Well... apologies... but the truth is... I am a peacock underneath. Arrogant. Vain. Selfish... I am a vain girl... And... I don't to go to back to that, in all honesty. But I can't be like this either...

... True.

Wealth in the past tended to be tied to royalty. And royalty was expected to be respected. Or you might be decapitated for treason.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. I'm expected to be Wealthy. To be prissy. Prim. Proper.

Not scarred. Beaten. Worn. Dirty. Common.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
"Yes, and I did... but... The real me will probably... think she was cheated." <- How so?

Apparently that didn't include good manners.

"For want of a nail, the shoe was lost. For want of a shoe, the horse was lost..."

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know... just... that her wish wasn't everything she thought it was.

What's that proverb from?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
How do you know that?

It varies, but one particular source was Benjamin Franklin's "Poor Richard's Almanac". But I believe you caught my meaning?

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
Because I'm her. Wearing Rose Colored Glasses.

For all you want, you lose something greater for the need to want.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
But that's not to say she won't have LEARNED something from this, is it?

*waggles finger* That the "small, dirty, common" things are what allow the big things to happen.

The rhyme ends with:
"For want of a battle, the Kingdom was lost.
All for the want of a nail."

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
... Not if she feels the... I believe the meme is "The Cake is a Lie". Which as far as I can think... she believes so.

Ahh... I see. That makes sense.

Any problems with horses, by the by?

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 02:45 am (UTC)(link)
...Well, we'll just have to see, won't we? Until then, it doesn't do any good to worry about it. Just live your life as you would now. If you just worry about her... then she won't have much to reflect on, will she?

It's a lesson the other you could probably stand learning.

...not that I'm aware of. ...haven't ridden any, especially not as I am now... should be interesting.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
... I suppose. But... got to worry somewhat.

See, that's the funny thing. That sort of lesson was the whole reason I came into existence.

... Are now? Just make sure you have no allergies and you have gloves, boots, and eye protection. Preferably goggles.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe it just needs a sledgehammer applied.

...I'll have to see about the equipment, but I don't believe I have any allergies.

I'll see you... whenever you're meeting with Shikou... hopefully.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps. The point was to understand people less fortunate then me....

I wonder if I forgot that.

I have spares, but not sure if the sizes would fit you.

Of course. I wouldn't mind continuing talking again some time, if we're done here.

[identity profile] pureplainpatron.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps.

As long as they're reasonably close, or not extremely big... that'll do.

Mmm... sounds like a plan. Right now... I just have other things I have to do, so goodbye for now.

[identity profile] thefifthmonarch.livejournal.com 2008-01-07 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
We'll have to compare.

Good evening, Mr. Eusebius.
