...on the up side, being a genie doesn't mean you can't monkey's paw the wishes to your benefit.

Like, say, "I wish to be more attractive" turns into "Turned into a girl" if they're male.

Or if they wish for wealth, drown them in liquid gold.

Or if they wish to be more desirable, turn them into chocolate cake.

You could still change the world, just more one person at a time.
